Workshop Attendance Policy
Attendance at workshops is mandatory for most AIOU programs. The university maintains strict policies regarding workshop participation:
- Students must attend a minimum of 75% of scheduled workshop sessions

- Valid reasons (such as medical emergencies) must be documented for any absences
- Make-up sessions may be available in exceptional circumstances with prior approval
- Consistent absence from workshops may result in course failure regardless of assignment performance

Regional Centers and Workshop Venues
AIOU has established regional centers and campuses across Pakistan to facilitate workshop activities. Your workshop will be scheduled at the center closest to your residential address, unless otherwise specified.
If you need to change your workshop venue due to relocation or other valid reasons, you must:
- Submit a formal request to your regional center
- Provide supporting documentation (proof of relocation, etc.)
- Receive approval before the workshop schedule is finalized
- Confirm the change with both your original and requested centers
For international students, alternative arrangements are made, which may include online workshops or designated centers in collaboration with Pakistani embassies.
